MIGAS COFFEE
BRIEF
For Migas Coffee, a Black- and Latina-owned coffee shop in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood, I developed the brand strategy, visual identity, and website. Rooted in its mission to be more than a coffee shop, the brand was designed to reflect its role as a community hub, where guests can fill their cups in every sense, from enjoying coffee to participating in events like book clubs and yoga.

WINS
Since launching, Migas Coffee has grown into a cornerstone of community connection in Denver. Their intentional brand identity has positioned them as a hub for culture, wellness, and collaboration. They’ve partnered with local organizations like Black and Blossomed and Endurance Run Club to host events that nourish both mind and body, deepening their roots within the creative and wellness communities.
Their presence and purpose have also attracted the attention of larger brands, leading to impactful collaborations with Nike, Patagonia, and Lululemon. In addition to expanding their network and reach, Migas also launched a mobile coffee cart, bringing their signature blend of culture and caffeine to festivals, markets, and pop-up events across the city. These wins have not only elevated their visibility, but affirmed Migas as a space where culture and community meet with intention.
